Anthony J. Kamerick

Anthony (Tony) Kamerick is Executive Vice President and Chief Regulatory Officer of Pepco Holdings, Inc. (PHI), a regional energy holding company that provides utility service to about 2 million customers. PHI is the parent company of Potomac Electric Power Company, an electric utility serving Washington, D.C., and suburban Maryland; Delmarva Power & Light Company, an electric and gas utility serving Delaware and the rest of the Delmarva Peninsula; and Atlantic City Electric Company, an electric utility serving southern New Jersey.
Mr. Kamerick is the senior officer responsible for regulatory matters that come before the state regulatory agencies and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).
Mr. Kamerick has testified before the Maryland Public Service Commission, the Public Service Commission of the District of Columbia, the Delaware Public Service Commission, the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities and the FERC.
Mr. Kamerick joined Pepco in 1970 and has held several management positions in Pepco’s finance department, including Vice President and Treasurer, Vice President and Comptroller, and Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He was also Vice President and Treasurer of Potomac Capital Investment (PCI) from 1985 to 1988.
Mr. Kamerick is a 1970 graduate of the University of Maryland with a B.S. in Accounting. He was awarded a M.B.A. in Finance from George Washington University and has completed the University of Michigan’s Public Utility Executive Program.
Mr. Kamerick is a member of the District of Columbia Chapter of Financial Executives International and is a past President of the chapter and board member. He is a member of the National Association of Rate of Return Analysts.
Mr. Kamerick serves on the Board of Directors of the Community Services for Autistic Adults and Children Foundation and the Board of Directors of Montgomery Alliance for Community Giving. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Studio Theatre in Washington, D.C.
