Complying With the Law
It is the policy of Pepco Holdings, Inc., and its affiliates (collectively, “PHI” or the “Company”) to comply fully with all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, regulations and orders in conducting the Company’s business.
There are two reasons to comply with the law. First, it is a basic expectation about how we do business at PHI. Second, failure to comply with the law could result in criminal penalties or civil remedies being imposed on the employee or the Company. That would harm us, our business, our reputation, and divert resources to the demands of litigation and the payment of legal fees, damages, or fines.
