Message from the Director of Diversity Joy J. Dorsey
PHI is a company committed to creating a work environment where everyone and every group fits, feels accepted, has value and can contribute to the company's success . We recognize that in today's increasingly diverse marketplace, our long-term success depends on providing an attractive corporate environment for recruiting and retaining the very best talented, qualified, educated, and motivated employees. We do this in part by offering a corporate culture rich with diversity.
Through our Supplier Diversity initiative, we have built successful partnerships with minority- and woman-owned businesses to enhance customer service and reliability, lower costs, and improve operational efficiencies.
The Diversity group is proud to lead PHI's internal and external diversity initiatives. We are proud of the programs currently in place and particularly proud of the recognitions we have already received. Our successes in fostering and maintaining diversity in our workforce, business transactions with suppliers and the communities we serve have been recognized in DiversityInc., Black Enterprise Magazine, Veterans Business Journal, Women's Enterprise USA Magazine, Fortune, AARP, and by the Asian American Business Roundtable. We will continue to ensure that the principles of diversity remain key elements in decision making processes at PHI.
