This solicitation was for the Residential 24-Month term starting October 1, 2007 through September 30, 2009.
A total of seven (7) bid blocks were offered representing 25% of the load and totaling approximately 368.2 MW PLC at time of Bid. All requirements were filled.
There were 14 eligible bidders in the 2007 – 2008 RFP Procurement Process of which 8 suppliers submitted bids and 2 suppliers won a portion of the load offered.

Pursuant to MDPSC Order No. 81382, Case No. 9064, dated April 27, 2007, the Commission found that the bidding conducted for this solicitation was conducted appropriately according to its established procedures.
The process for releasing the names of all bidders and the names and load allocation of all successful bidders is pursuant to Section 7-510(c)(4)(ii)(5) of the Maryland Public Utilities Code.
