PHI among Nation’s Top Three Utilities in Environmental Transparency
Washington - Pepco Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:POM) has been named one of the top three utilities in the United States for environmental reporting.
The recognition was cited in a report released May 19 by the Roberts Environmental Center, an environmental research institute at Claremont McKenna College in California.
The report is based on a review of company Web sites and grading according to the “Pacific Sustainability Index (PSI).”
The Claremont report’s high ranking of PHI’s e nvironmental reporting indicates high levels of transparency, corporate responsibility and company performance in resolving environmental problems.
