In order to register as an active Alternate Energy Service Provider, you must be a licensed and certified Supplier with PJM and the Maryland Public Service Commission. You must also agree to the following agreements, terms and conditions for working as an Alternate Energy Service Provider at PHI.
In order to continue and apply with PHI in the Pepco Maryland jurisdiction, you will need to register for the Supplier Contract Management System and then log in to the Supplier Contract Management System. This is a secure site that will allow you to create a unique login and password and submit your supplier registration online.
You will receive a response from a Supplier Relations Account Manager within five business days after the company has received your completed registration. If more than fifteen (15) business days pass, and you have heard no response from the company, please contact Supplier Relations at (202) 872-2521 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once, your registration documentation is reviewed and determined to be complete, you will be scheduled for EDI compatibility testing according to the current schedule. More information on EDI Implementation Guidelines can be found on Maryland’s PSC website.
You will not be able to enroll customers via EDI transactions until you receive an activation letter from PHI Supplier Relations. All 814 Enrollment transactions will be rejected, if sent before you are fully registered.
